PERMED HAIR TIPS
Growing out perms
When growing out a prem you have a couple of choices. This will give a sprial look yoyr curls. After rollers have cooled take out rollers and spray. Finally turn head upside down and run your fingers through your hair.
Fine Hair Solutions
Fine hair is due to lack of a cuticle / cortex ration. Those with fine hair walk a fine line between having too much moisture in the hair (weighing it down) and not enough. Shoulder length or shorter is good for fine hair. Your stylist should use scissors only to obtain the most precise cut as possible for your thin hair. Layers are optional - but it is nice to give fine hair some shape since it tends to go limp. A good solution for this is face-framing layers.
Remember: With fine hair -less it's okay to use texturing products to add volume and control while styling -but dont go overboard. To keep your hair in the best condition, blow-dry on the lowest setting switch shampoo's every few days, alternating between volumizing and moisturizing formulas it is also a good idea to use a clarifying shampoo once a week.
Color is a great tool to help make fine hair look thicker and healthier. Remember that fine hair is usually a naturally lighter in color than thick hair- so it is important to tell your colorist to lighten the base first. By working with color and plump up. Creating a thicker feel, then lowlights and highlights can be added to create a natural effect. Shade upon shade can give a textured appearance. Deep conditioning once a week will help not any in keeping hair healthier, but also holding any color applied to your hair.
